The ideal applicant

  • Do you have a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Quantitative Finance?
  • How about relevant industry experience?
  • Have you got a strong IT background, with hands-on experience of development, delivery and support?
  • Do you have a numerical background and are you comfortable with complex calculations or familiar with quant concepts?
  • Do you have strong analytical skills?
  • Technologies: Java, Python, Matlab, SQL, Git-Maven-Nexus-Jenkins, web services & sites, Linux
  • Are you comfortable working in a small, newly created team and are you happy doing what is necessary to complete tasks?
  • Do you speak fluent English and some German too?

About the job

Key tasks are ensuring the software and services delivered to our clients are properly quality assured (including proper numerical validation), packaged, documented and supportable from the ground up. Secondly, providing support to our clients, including explanation of methodology and quantitative validation of issues, automated checks and data gathering, backed up by the development teams.

The team will also act as subject matter experts in the areas of supportable architectures, quality automation, packaging, and client support, helping to ensure all of swissQuant provide a high level of customer service.
