THE COMPANY: Our client is a property management company based in Lichfield. They have a fantastic opportunity available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their friendly team.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Assistant Property Manager you will assist in all aspects of professional management of blocks of flats within my client's portfolio. Within time, it is hoped that this will develop into a Property Manager role, taking sole responsibility for management of specific sites.
Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Property Manager role to include:-
Supporting Property Managers and general property administration including: Dealing with leaseholders queries via email and telephone Liaising with contractors and scheduling repairs Obtaining quotes and tendering when required Dealing with and signing off invoices Site visits and inspections Budgeting and planning Record keeping and updating
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Assistant Property Manager you will have good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. You will have a friendly and courteous telephone manner. You need to have the ability to manage a fluctuating workload and be able to effectively prioritise and multi task. Working well within a small team is essential. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Lichfield.
Key requirements essential for the role of Assistant Property Manager:-
Computer literacy Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle Be prepared to travel throughout the UK when needed Be available to respond to out of hours helpline calls (only in emergencies) Minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths A willingness to learn is more important that any direct experience
