Regional Sales Manager - Northwestern US and Western
Canada
Telestream is a leading global provider of digital media
encoding, live streaming, transcoding, workflow automation, and
cross-platform compatibility solutions. Our team of video and
networking experts has created a continuous stream of innovative
products that revolutionize the way video and audio files are
accessed, repurposed and distributed into today's digital media
ecosystem. Our customers include a vast majority of the world's
leading media and entertainment companies as well as many others,
including corporate, government and educational users.Currently we
are looking to add to our Sales team, if you are a dynamic,
experienced sales professional, this might be the role for you.
Primary responsibilities and functions
include:
•Achieving sales quota by managing direct, dealer and system
integrator sales in a specified region and/or a set of specified
key accounts in the Western United States & Canada - specifically
Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana; and the Canadian provinces of
British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
•Continued sales pipeline development through a combination of
cold calling, campaigns, dealer relationship building, and market
sector knowledge
•Constant in-person meetings to present and demonstrate
Telestream solutions to prospective end-users for purchase
•Work actively with our field based sales engineering team to
determine the proper solution fit and configuration required by
customers in the broadcast, post production, digital media,
business, and education markets.
•Consult with customers on best practices and workflows
associated with Telestream workflow and transcoding products and
applications
•Diligently manage and track opportunities in our SalesForce.com
CRM for purposes of forecasting/reporting on a regional basis
Required skills, knowledge and abilities:
•Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience within the
digital media/broadcast industry is required
•Minimum of 10 years sales experience is preferred
•Proven record of exceeding sales quota
•Strong working knowledge of enterprise software, with an
emphasis on video applications
•Fundamental understanding of contemporary video and audio
compression products and applications
•Applicants should possess an energetic "hunter" sales mentality
with a strong desire to develop and close new business while also
maximizing revenue growth from our large base of installed
users
•Must be equally comfortable dealing with senior management as
well as mid-level technical staff as part of any client
engagement
