Job Description

This 'outstanding' independent Early Years training provider is seeking receptionists for their team; - Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive - Direct students/visitors to the appropriate place - Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls - Ensure Reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) - Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email - Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries - Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges, create access passes) including security handover - Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock - Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying & typing. The successful candidate must have proven experience within a Receptionist or similar role and possess a good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office to a competent level. You must be organised and professional. Previous experience within a similar role is essential together with excellent communication skills, an articulate and confident approach when dealing with people at all levels, as well as being approachable and friendly.
