The purpose of the role is to drive operational performance across all IT services within the Financial Services domain to meet the organisation's business outcomes and objectives. This role will be responsible for protecting the integrity, performance, capacity, availability and reliability of their finance and reporting applications, including E-business, Billing and Leasing applications.
The role requires interaction with internal teams and with external partners in order to manage expectations and to manage service delivery to meet them. The incumbent will bring experience leading and managing cross functional teams to manage problems, incidents and changes. In addition, the incumbent will require a strong entrepreneurial drive as well as a demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals and drive operational excellence for a set of internal customers.
To achieve this, the IT Service Operations Lead will work closely with customer stakeholders to understand operational requirements, resolve issues and ensure a high level of service. The role ensures that work effort and resources are focussed on areas of business priority.
