Role Description

  • The first line support team acts as single point of contact for onsite & satellite sites end-user community, local Application Management process and call handling.
  • Pro-actively assist end-users and resolve problems within own capability,
  • Filter problems likely to be solved locally on site from typically incidents to be routed to the Second Line Support Are a hub of known experienced knowledge source (eg business process, way-of-working) to guide end-users
  • Support the definition of requirements (change requests), testing, acceptance and local implementation of application & business process changes Perform (new) end-user training if required by business teams

Essential Job Functions

  • Daily operations monitoring, workflow resolution, interfacing supervision
  • Phone & personal application support of SAP end users in fields of procurement, maintenance, warehousing, finance
  • Local user administration and related SOx controls
  • Participation in global key user communities
  • Support for new order flow/business set up. Drive for incident resolution and improvement.
  • UAT (User Acceptance Test) for CR (Change Request) support. Support towards reporting and training.
