As the 'go-to' mid-tier Service Provider for many Australian and International clients, FinXL enjoys a diverse client portfolio, boasting some of the industry's leading: Telecommunication, Banking and Finance and Commercial Corporations, along with many State and Federal Government Departments.

Our client within the Education sector seeks to implement a (HCM) software solution and requires your help with planning, definition and support for a likely twelve month contract role to start immediately

Ideally, the applicant will be able to demonstrate the below minimum requirements;

  • Three to 5 years' experience in IT, particularly on the end-to-end implementation of HCM software solutions.
  • Diploma or Degree qualified in IT or related field
  • Experience in soliciting user requirements and providing technical and operation advice to stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing architectural strategies for HCM software solutions
  • Experience in drafting technical specifications, end-user and operational requirements for RFTs
  • Understanding of government entity procurement practices.
  • Experience in the end-to-end design, procurement and implementation of large scale HCM software solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills at all levels
  • Ability to facilitate outcomes and achieve consensus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent planning and project management skills

Responsibilities include;

  • Work closely with our stakeholders, Procurement and IT departments and provide specialist HCM technical and operational advice.
  • Provide technical and operational advices to stakeholders and assist them with the development of their HCM requirements.
  • Liaise with IT on system solution options and assist with the development of a preferred option business case.
  • Draft detailed user requirements and system specifications suitable for inclusion in a RFT.
  • Liaise with Procurement on development of the procurement plan and tendering process.
  • Assist with the evaluation of tender responses
  • Assist with project implementation including, issue resolution and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
