Temporary Child Welfare Caseworker - Regional
Franklin County Children Services (FCCS) is seeking highly motivated, experienced child welfare professionals for temporary work to support our core mission of protecting children by strengthening families. Successful applicants must have a social work degree or LSW; be proficient in computer usage in order to navigate SACWIS and other applications frequently used by child welfare caseworkers; be able to type 25 WPM; have strong written and verbal communication skills; and value the diversity offered by a major metropolitan community. Preferably, the successful applicants would also be CORE trained. This temporary position will require successful applicants to complete face to face contacts with children, parents, and caregivers throughout Franklin County and contiguous counties in various settings, including home visits. Required hours up to 30 per week with flexible scheduling, which will include evenings and weekends. Hourly rate will be dependent on experience. Successful applicants will receive support and training to prepare for this critical role.
