Supply Chain Specialist

Job Location:

This position will be based in Zurich, Switzerland -Chinese speaking

Main Responsibilities:

You will be a part of the local Supply Chain Team and take over the following responsibilities:

  • Develop supply solution for project(s) by early involvement in sales project, review terms and conditions in bidding/contract, estimate logistics costs, identify customer special requirements and potential risks, etc.;
  • Manage material forecast by working together with sales team and Project Team;
  • Based on project master plan and product configuration, manage material rolling plan;
  • Communicate with supply centers, project teams, customers and subcontractors, coordinate resource to guarantee material on time delivery;
  • Monitor order fulfillment from end to end, manage order closure, make weekly reports, and do troubleshooting for all supply-related issues;
  • Optimize internal process and deal with transformation, internal control, engineering inspection and/or audit on project level;
  • Customer satisfaction management and process internal control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain management area;
  • Basic knowledge of contract, international trade and logistics;
  • Experience of process design and optimization;
  • Must be fluent in English, meanwhile speak German, or Italian, or French, or Chinese;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Product knowledge on telecommunication equipment is preferred;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, be target oriented and work under pressure
  • Strong willing to take challenge;
  • Solid command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience with ERP, SAP or similar IT system preferred.
