Telco BSS Transformation Project Manager - Central Asian country and former Soviet republic. You be part of a governance team managing all 3rd Party integration activities for a major BSS project Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling and managing all SI activities with 3rd parties related to the delivery of a major BSS solution to a key UK customer Agree documents such as NDAs, PIDs, etc with 3rd parties related to the BSS project Manage 3rd parties to deliver required documentation, interfaces and/or custom deliverables Ensure 3rd party testing is scheduled and completed in line wibth overall project plan Provide regular status reporting to all stakeholders Attend regular 3rd party meetings Essential knowledge/skills: Very strong project manager experienced in dealing with 3rd party and SI management Experience as a Project Manager in complex, large scale telco projects with significant SI activity Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors Strong negotiation skills Strong influencing skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports Ability to work independently Synchronization of Scoping activities between all teams - Quality Assurance: Time Plan control, HLD quality Governance - HLD docs, etc. Establishment of all roles Coordination, facilitation Reporting Etc. to agree together in detail Following the first phase where our customer implemented postpaid billing we are now to have a convergent platform for all our customers Phase 2 of the Project is covering two main areas: OLC (On-Line Charging) implementation and migration of current postpaid customers to OLC Implementation of prepaid features and migration of prepaid customers Transformation of the off-line charging of post-paid and PIA customers in production to on-line charging, as a separate early drop. The project will include: Scoping of 6 new requirements, development of all the requirements (new OLC BRs and including merge with already developed OLC BRs part 1 year ago), delivery to UAT, testing support, deployment to production, system migration support, stabilization, within the timeline of the project, as presented in TimePlan; Essential experience: Strong experience of SI management Proven ability to interact within a multi-cultural environment Experience of the software development life cycle Essential qualification(s): Diploma, degree or above in a relevant discipline. Recognised project management qualification desirable
