Operational Improvement Engineer - HMNB Clyde, Faslane A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for Operational Improvement Engineers to join a FTSE 100 Organisation based in Clyde. The anticipated salary for this role will be between £32,837 and £36,486 depending on experience. Main Tasks You will identify, manage and implement operational improvement opportunities, providing innovative process and procedural efficiencies to support the Company's strategic objective of increasing certainty of project delivery. Working within the Fleet Operations team and serving a range of internal and external customers, Manufacturing Engineers will work collaboratively with their colleagues to plan and manage improvement projects. Additionally, they will be responsible for reporting to project boards and for producing high quality management information. Requirements We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate significant experience of working in roles which have focused on the delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives to a high standard, such as Improvement Specialist roles. We would prefer experience gained in engineering environments, although this is not a prerequisite. Previous experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would be advantageous. Key areas of competency we require are as follows: Minimum of HNC level qualification in an Engineering discipline. Highly organised; able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities Effective relationship building and interpersonal skills. Location This role is based at HMNB Clyde, located at Faslane 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland respectively. Test Development Engineer Cheltenham 6 months Hourly Rate £35 My client is seeking an experienced Engineer who has experience in specifying/designing/developing/documenting/commissioning/releasing a Systems Test Laboratory installation for an aircraft Electrical Load Management System. The project is at the commissioning/release phase where the facility is transitioning from the design to the operations team. Outstanding work in the resolving issues/baselining documentation and releasing equipment. Key Activities Capture requirements/Author Statement of Requirements Documents. Liaise with third party suppliers using Engineering Coordination Memos. Organise/Take part in design reviews (PDR/IDR/CDR). Review document packs supporting hardware (assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, wiring lists, piece part manufacture drawings, etc.) Author test notes and execute testing. Commission and integrate new test equipment. Qualifications/Desirable Skills Qualified experienced electrical/electronic test development engineer.
