JOB REF: J181-155 GARDENER/GROUNDS PERSON 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, FULL TIME, PERMANENT STARTING SALARY - £17,119 PER ANNUM The Hospice is recruiting a Gardener/Grounds Person to look after its extensive grounds and gardens at Saint Francis Hospice, The Hall, Havering-atte-Bower, Romford, Essex RM4 1QH. The Hospice is situated in a conservation area. The grounds consist of lawns and planted areas, many mature trees and a collection of historic roses. Gardening support is provided by a small team of Volunteers. You will need a good standard of horticultural knowledge and experience and self-motivation to be able to plan and organise the varied seasonal tasks. You will be working in a sensitive environment and it is extremely important that you are able to understand how to behave when working near patients and their relatives.
